Black and White display at ExpoWe had an amazing day at the Women Mean Business Expo on the 25th January. This was the first time our group had a stand at a public wedding fair/ business Expo and it really showcased what we do best as a group: work together.

A small team of Nicola O'Keeffe, Nikki Hirst and Zoe Cartwright-Wrigglesworth coordinated the stand (no mean feat when you have over 25 businesses to showcase) and worked with Natalia Wilmott to develop the black and white Bridget Riley theme into a stunning display. On the day it was all hands on deck to set up in the morning and during the day members took it in turns to man the stand and browse the rest of the Expo.

Our aim for the day was twofold: 1) to attract potential new members and 2) to sell our businesses to people getting married. Judging by the numbers of enquiries since, we have certainly achieved aim 1 and time will tell us if members get any bookings.

A massive thank you to Tracy Burleigh of Women Mean Business UK for organising the Expo and bringing together such an amazing group of women.
